The Elite Competitive Team ...
The premiere dance company in Western PA!

An Elite Team Member is trained for life - not just to win dance competitions. Although we are home to numerous high score trophies, scholarships, title awards, choreography awards and monetary wins;

Our goal is not to send a dancer to win only trophies. Elite trains company dancers to audition, perform, travel, and win jobs in the dance industry. The Elite Teachers are truly superior dance educators and not "competition only" teachers. Elite encourages conventions and brings in renowned guest teachers to give members the "edge" over our competition.

Of course EDBD takes every opportunity open to us to take convention and our motto is "convention before competition"!  Thank you John Crutchman and Alan Sherfield for another fantastic season of WCDE in the 'burgh!

An 800 person event and audition...

Taylor Banks won the ELITE TEEN SCHOLARSHIP which is the biggest award of the weekend! This means she beat out kids from all over the country ... over powered them in the audition!

Corrie Wyse won a full year WCDE scholarship which means she can go anywhere around the country for free for a full year and take classes! Fantastic!

Lindsay McGivern won the most prestigious award of the junior division which was the ELITE JUNIOR SCHOLARSHIP!

The “Elite Team” started off the season early this year at an optional competition in Youngstown Ohio. We had 11 students attend and brought home all the top awards!!!!
