Everyone Wants to Know - How Do We Do It?

Elite Dance by Damian is the only studio in Pittsburgh and the entire state of Pennsylvania to host in studio workshops with world famous choreographers from “So You Think You Can Dance”- Mia Michaels and Sonya Tayeh! We bring in the best of the best to work with our very own Elite!

Elite has also had the privilege of working with some of the best teachers/choreographers in the dance industry to include- Jason Parsons, Calen Kurka, Chris Hale, Zandra Thomas, Destini Rogers, Cast of Legally Blonde on Broadway, Jeff Shade, Ron Todorowski, and many others.

Elite Brings in the Very Best! What a Fantastic Year With So Many Master Guests!

	Zandra Thomas and Aly Moss from Z Company/Off Broadway Dance came to Elite to teach master classes and choreograph some awesome pieces. Zandra is very well known for her original contemporary style. The Elite Dancers had a blast learning such terrific stylization! Zandra is on staff with MOVE and The Shootout. Her pieces can be seen online. She will be back to give more award-winning choreography to the Elite Dancers this August 2009!
	Destini Rogers – a Top 20 Dancer from way back on SYTYCD Season 1 came all the way to Elite from Applause Studio’s in OK. One of our observers could have easily mistaken Destini for a supermodel! She is a truly wonderful contemporary and jazz choreographer. The Elite Dancers found her to be a great dancer and appreciated the fantastic classes she taught. Destini just moved to LA so perhaps we shall be seeing her soon in a music video or piece of commercial work.
	Oh My God Oh My God You Guys! One of the best shows on Broadway came to Elite! Elite welcomed stars from hit show “Legally Blonde.” Stars Ven Daniel and Sara Andreas taught master workshop classes based on the Tony Winning Choreography from the show! The Elite members got to join the show’s cast and get behind the scenes photos! Elite loves Broadway and we like to think that Broadway loves Elite, too!
	Jeff Shade – long term Elite Guest Teacher from Steps on Broadway, Sweet Charity, Tap Kids, The Tony Awards and so so so much more came back to Elite this past fall to teach our young aspiring dancers. He is a truly positive person and great role model for young dancers!

Sonya Tayeh - main choreographer for ‘So You Think You Can Dance’ came into Elite to teach 9 hrs of workshop classes. The fierce style and commitment to teaching excellence was out of this world. She is a genius and an icon. We will continue to hear about her this season. Elite wants to be the first to watch her rise to unthinkable heights. She deserves the world!

Elite Dance by Damian hosted the hottest intensive to hit any studio in the country this year! The Emmy winning celebrity judge/chor. from ‘So You Think You Can Dance’– Mia Michaels, headed into Elite on her way to SYTYCD Canada! Assisted by the great Teddy Forance (Dancing with the Starz/SoulEscape) she taught the most brilliant pieces to local dancers. Over 100 dancers registered for Elite’s Intensive and the Limited Edition t-shirts were a sell out! This is her last studio workshop EVER and a true gift!
